Who we are and what we do

Lichtenstein Associates, Inc., (LAI), is a Rhode Island based specialized healthcare consultancy with national reach. LAI provides services to community health centers seeking technical assistance and coaching in advance of Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Operational Site Visits. Our team of consultants provides technical assistance to health center leadership, management staff, and their boards of directors. Our primary area of focus is on the three HRSA program compliance domains (Clinical, Fiscal, and Governance/Administrative), of the HRSA Health Center Program Compliance Manual and the associated Health Center Program Site Visit Protocol Manual (SVP).

Leading a nonprofit community-based organization is especially challenging in today’s environment. We are pleased to offer consultation and technical assistance on all aspects of organizational and leadership matters. We provide coaching and facilitation services to assist organization leadership to better understand their current realities, to develop a clear sense of where they want to lead their organization, and strategies on how to achieve their desired state of operations. We provide ongoing coaching and support for organization leaders implementing new strategies and initiatives.

In addition to organization-based services, we offer assistance to individuals and families who are trying to make sense of the current primary care, mental health, and substance use service providers they interact with on a regular basis. We help them understand options available to them. This support will allow them to make better informed decisions and to put the best healthcare service delivery plan in place for themselves or their family members.
